After years of home recording i finaly worked out a sound and a style. I was about to form a group to perform my concept and then i wached the movie "Vengo" i instantly dropped rock music and took Flamenco guitar lessons. I gave myself a year to see if that suits me for expressing my extreme feelings. The songs that transenced me are there for everyone on

is it too late...?

http://mobdividual.bandcamp.com/
http://www.last.fm/music/mobdividual

Binaural, minimally overdubbed, reverberating delays of acoustic and subtle electric guitars swirling in a fantastic dreamscape; as noise and slow melodies ebb and flow; where an infinity edge of sound, sea and sky mix in a playground of a quiet stroll through a shadowy, sunny, breezy downtown.

An enjoyable blend of sound over time. give it time, give yourself some time, let it turn your brain off, dont try to think it through and try not to think through it...

thanks if you listen

PREVIOUS PUMPKINS BASSIST IN A CHICAGO GALLERY SHOW

MELISSA AUF DER MAUR, celebrating her recent Out of Our Minds album/film/comic book.

Come to CAD (CHICAGO ART DEPARTMENT) to see Melissa's photography, filmmaking, comic art, and hear her music.

Friday April 23rd, 2010 | 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Chicago Art Department - 1837 South Halsted
Screening of the Out of Our Minds film begins at 7:00 p.m. followed by a Q&A with MAdM and director Tony Stone. Plus, MAdM's Out of Our Minds photography will be on display. Food will be provided courtesy of Yum Universe and drinks will be provided courtesy of Old Style and 404 Wines. Plus, gift bags to the first 100 guests and a chance to win tickets to MAdM's concert April 24 at Beat Kitchen. RSVP by sending an e-mail to events@venuszine.com.

The Chicago Art Department (CAD) cultivates new and emerging Chicago artists.

Founded in 2004 by three college instructors, CAD aims to benefit artists by exploring art and learning. Through exhibitions, artist residencies, classes/workshops, and community building, we are dedicated to cultivating new voices, ideas, and practices in contemporary art. CAD seeks to serve the real-world needs of young artists seeking to establish their personal practice, as well as provide a breeding ground of creative collaboration and exploration.

What does this mean? It's ongoing arts explorations. Shows, classes, events, workshops, and interaction with Chicago arts enthusiasts. We invite you to attend one of our shows or sit-in on a class! Drop by the studio during studio times (posted on our google calendar, found on CAD's home page), or reach out to a coordinator about a potential partnership.

If you are interested in flexing your skills, learning something new, establishing a studio space, participating in exhibitions, showing and potentially selling your art, developing yourself as an artist and meeting/collaborating with other Chicago artists, you should consider visiting CAD's gallery on South Halsted or studio on West Hubbard!
