This is great. I love that you are keeping us up to date on everything. Thanks to all of you. I didn't leave a question because I thought they had all been asked, but I did have something I've been wondering about for a while. What happened to the Gish box set idea? Will that ever happen? Any plans on reissues of other records? I know a MCIS deluxe with all the outtakes would be awesome.

Excellent blog Kerry!
Its great to see such prestigious musicians as yourselves taking the time to let all your fans have an insight into the creation of your new album.
I can't wait to hear the tracks!

If your taking more questions;
Do you (or any of the other band members) have a favourite Smashing Pumpkins track/album? Why?

Thanks for all the updates,
Tadhg.

Is Billy going to use his famous "Soul" Marshall Jcm 800 head? What makes that amp special?

Really happy to hear that Kimberly Kay got recorded before she supposedly "exploded!"

Hurray!

Daniel, for starters it's modified to have a really clean poweramp section by changing the tube type to KT88, normally used in hifi for clarity, rather than in guitar amps where breakup is generally preferred.

The Billy doll's jacket looks like a cross between Austin Powers and The Future Embrace tour...

I'm liking the positive vibes you're putting out. And Billy looks relaxed and healthy, and has lost some weight.

Do you guys have a rough idea when you're planning on releasing the first batch of tunes?

Is Billy planning to release MACHINA II in the near future? Because it wasn't officialy released, it is not possible to buy it.

Hi there, I'm Nicolas from Argentina. I'd like to know what bands are you actually listening to these days. I guess you people listen to a lot of different music but I'm wondering if maybe you have like some bands or albums to take as a reference to get a particular sound. Sorry about my english. Thanks!

F*ck! I am so pumped to see Mike playing Gretsch and Ludwig!!
Great American drums with great American guitars, that killer combo is the essence of rock!
I too have an 80's Gretsch kit, a beautiful 50's "round badge" Gretsch as well and a few old Ludwig and Gretsch snares also, so I know EXACTLY where you're coming from!
I can't wait to hear these tracks and see you guys out on the road again here down under.
